Madrigals (unaccompanied songs composed during the Renaissance and written for three to eight different voice parts) and holiday music are studied and performed in the annual madrigal dinner. Other public performances are given as well during the semester. An audition is required and these are held during the first week of class. However, students should register before classes begin. Grading is based solely on attendance and cooperation. This course may be repeated for a maximum of four semester hours. ![]() ![]() |
