The Class Piano sequence (MUS 120, MUS 121, MUS 220, MUS 221) is designed for the adult student who always wanted to learn to play the piano but never had the opportunity.  No previous experience is necessary. The courses are also designed for the non-keyboard music major.  Students will learn to read music at the piano in a group setting. Classes meet in LLCC's 16 station Yamaha Clavinova lab.

"Class Piano I is the best way to learn how to read music, understand how it is written and to play the keyboard.  I had zero prior knowledge of music and Barbara's class is perfect for learning everything about piano!"
Veatress Leigh - Student, Class Piano

"You learn to play the piano, have duets, understand music theory, listen to classmate's questions, comments and laugh at our mistakes.  It is also less expensive than private lessons.  Prof. Lanham is an excellent teacher and makes each lesson fun.  I highly recommend these classes."
Eileen LoPossa - Student, Class Piano

"I've been playing bass for six years now and after the first semester of Class Piano I, I've looked at it differently.  It has helped me play my bass better.  It's a hands-on class where you actually learn by trial and error, along with everyone else.  You learn a lot quickly."
Eric Pino Pianezza - Student, Class Piano
